Get Art ❤️ Give Art

How it’s made

All of Kasha’s art starts with a pencil sketch on stretched canvas. She then adds layers of acrylic ink and water, pulling off as much color as she puts on. No paintbrushes are used, she just uses a glass dropper from a jar of ink. Here is a video of how and why Kasha paints:

The Clutch Art series is made in the USA at Harken Canvas in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Mary, Lucy and the other ladies at Harken take yoga mats and stitch them up into beautiful, irresistible and indestructible pockets of joy. The yoga mat material is naturally flexible, water resistant and reminds us to bend with what life tosses at us. Or if you’re like Kasha, what you spill on yourself.
